Flies are attracted by means of a non-pesticide attractant. Flies enter the bag but can not escape and die.  All you need to do is add water, add attractant and hang. When the bag is full, dispose of the entire bag and contents.

It is suggested that bags be hung around dog kennels, in well ventilated barns, around poultry-swine-beef and dairy barns, near garbage cans or dumpsters and near compost piles.
